In 1950 Robert and Audrey Talbott moved from the East Coast to Carmel, California, to pursue their vision of men's fashion. It began with Audrey hand-crafting bow ties, and soon grew into a thriving business.

Over the decades the brand opened shops in Carmel, Pebble Beach and New York City, and introduced iconic collections like its Best of Class neckwear and seven-fold neckties.
